Vazhachundu Thoran!

1.Banana Flower(Vazhachundu)-1
2.Red Moong Dhal-1/2 cup
3.Green chilly-3
5.Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
6.Curry leaves-5
7.Grated coconut-3/4 cup
8.Mustard-1/2 tsp
9.Rice-1/2 tsp
10.Red chilly-2
11.Oil-as rqd
12.Salt-to taste
1.Cook red moong dhal with salt.
2.Grate the Banana flower and mix it with little oil..keep it aside for 1/2 an hour
3.Blend grated coconut.
4.Heat oil in a pan and splutter ingredients 8,9 and 10.
5.Add turmeric powder,grated banana flower,shallots, green chilly and salt(be careful in adding salt...bcoz we already added salt in dhal).Drain the coconut milk from the blended coconutand add into it.Mix well and close the lid to let it cook.
5.Once banana flower cooked add cooked dhal,blened coconut and curry leaves.Mix well.
6.Keep it on low flame for few minutes.
